SPORTWORLD INDOOR BASEBALL/SOFTBALL TRAINING FACILITY

Practice area includes 2 batting cages and 2 pitching tunnels.

• Personalized Baseball & Softball Instruction

Pitching:

• 1 Little League size tunnel with an official Little League mound,

  6" high x 7' wide x 9' long, and  35' Fast Pitch Softball pitching lane.

  Completely covered in genuine baseball Astroturf.   

• 1 High School size tunnel with an official NCAA mound, 10" high x 7' wide x 9' long and a 40' Fast Pitch Softball pitching lane. Completely covered in genuine baseball Astroturf.

Hitting:

• 1 batting cage with an Iron Mike Pitching Machine by Master. The machine holds up to 300 baseballs. The cage can also be used with a live pitcher. Protective screens are provided.

• 1 batting cage with a single wheel Juggs machine for baseball or softball.

   This machine must be hand fed. The cage can also be used with a live pitcher.

   Protective screens provided.

Training aids are also available for use including Ken Griffey Batting Tees, Automatic Soft-Toss Machines, Pitching Targets, Personal Practice Nets, Hit'n Stiks, Easton Thunder Sticks, etc.

Batting Cage Rental:

    $50 per hour

    $25 per 1/2 hour

     $15 per 1/4 hour

Pitching Tunnel Rental:

    $30  per hour

    $15 per 1/2 hour

STAFF

Director: Bill Lehman

-         Bill Lehman played for the Chicago White Sox organization for Seven years. He is also a Very successful coach. Winning numerous championships including taking a 15U AAU team to the Elite 8 in the National Championships.

Coach: Mickey Duval - Mick played A ball for the Cincinatti Reds. He was the starting center fielder for the Reds team that won the Championship in Japan in 1978. He was in the top 10 in hitting and the top 5 in stolen bases.

Coach: Tom Burke –  Shortstop at New Jersey City University,  formerly varsity shortstop at Immaculata High School , Tom has played for Coach Lehman since he was 12 years old, and was a part of the 15U AAU National Team.

Coach: Steve Santangelo- Teammate with Tom on the National team, Steve will be a varsity pitcher at Bernardsville High School in the spring. Steve has also been a player for Coach Lehman since he was 13.
